The second senate meeting of 2025 will be taking place tomorrow night at 8:15! Great line up ahead - be there!

Sponsor statements can be found below:

“My legislation aims to support a social media presence from the Department of Public Safety. Platforms such as Facebook and Instagram would serve as an accessible, visible, modern, and convenient alternative to the university website for updates and information. I appreciate the support of Associate Vice President Kirk McLean, Student Government Association President Lance, and my co-sponsors.” -Senator Albarano

“This Resolution aims to formall disapprove of two over-allocations made by the Treasury Board last semester. The Student Activity Fee is intended to be distributed equitably to events open to all-students, and these allocations break both of those principles.” -Senator Hermes

“This Resolution aims to establish a committee of student representatives to express student questions, opinions, and concerns regarding the reorganization of academic programs.” -Senator Hermes

“This resolution aims to provide textbook consistency between schools while also allowing students the ability to save money during textbook purchasing.” -Senator Ortiz

“This resolution aims to install cameras in residence hall laundry rooms, primarily in dorms along John McCormack Rd and Michigan Ave. This would promote the safety and wellbeing of students and their belongings by preventing theft.” -Senator Weatherwax
