Had our annual holiday potluck and team meeting tonight! We are excited to officially kick off the 2025 season in just a couple of weeks!

Day 4 (Sunday 10/28) Recap:

We ended day 4 with our Great Gatsby team free routine which placed 5th. This was only the second time we swam this routine together as a full team and our swimmers did great! As a bonus, we got to wear our new routine suits which were made by one of the moms of our swimmers. Shout out to all the synchro moms and dads who continue to support us masters athletes! Fun fact, we had 5 synchro parents from our team cheering us on at our competition this year!

We ended the day by earning third place overall high point award. So proud of all of our swimmers who worked hard this season and had great swims at the meet.

Duet Free, Trio Free and Team tech. So proud of the accomplishments of our small routines and team routine. Bringing home lots of hardware!

We wrapped up our last few outdoor practices this week. It’s officially fall, and officially time to move indoors for the rest of the season. Kudos to our swimmers who braved the cold and rain this week to squeeze in some extra practice time!

Our team had an amazing time supporting at her book launch of “Swimming Pretty” last night! It was amazing to hear her speak about her book, the history of the sport, and the research that went into this book. We even got our very own signed copy 😁
We love to support our teammates both in and out of the pool!

The DC Synchromasters are ready for the first competition of the season! We will be spending a few days in Montreal, Canada for the Canadian Masters Championships. We are looking forward to swimming and spending time together as a team 😁
