It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of long-time associate, Barbara Crane. Barbara started her professional life as a school teacher in New York City, but her thirst for adventure led her into the travel industry where she started with Pan Am Airlines. Equal parts entrepreneur, planner, and customer service specialist, Barbara represented the best of our industry for decades. She was universally admired by colleagues, vendors, clients, and competitors for her vast knowledge and experience. Fortunately for our staff, Barbara never lost the spirit of education and mentored several of the professionals who remain at World-Wide Travel Associates to work tirelessly in her memory. Barbara believed that, like love, travel is something you must do, not just talk about (and it sometimes gets messy!). We invite all who knew her or worked with her to share memories in tribute to this very special colleague.
