Looking for some live local music? Head on down to Ashwood Taps and Trucks this Wednesday from 6-8pm!

Hello music lovers! We are so excited for this upcoming show at Ashwood Taps and Trucks! It's a FREE show Wednesday December 18th 6-8 pm. We have three singer songwriters that will be bringing some great music to the show!

One of the performers will be Laura May! Laura is an independent singer-songwriter reining from the Pacific Northwest. Since her start, Laura has held residencies in various cities as well as toured nationally as a headlining musician. She regularly performs critically acclaimed original music at festivals and listening rooms.

Her sound is described as indie folk roots grown in southern rock. Honest story telling resonates with fans through intimate engaging performances.

Currently Laura is playing solo, and fronting her band GOOSE! (don’t be frightened).

Welcome to Washougal

Beautifully bordered by the Columbia and Washougal Rivers, the Washougal area is filled with many family friendly parks, hiking trails, businesses and neighborhoods. Approximately 15,560 residents call Washougal home. Incorporated in 1908, it was the site of some of the very earliest American settlers and pioneers in the Washington Territory.

Downtown Washougal’s Reflection Plaza plays host to many community events all year around. Set along Main Street in Washougal, it is close to the Washougal Town Square, Pendleton Woolen Mills Outlet Store and the Two Rivers Heritage Museum.

Thanks to creation of a pedestrian tunnel, visitors can move safely from downtown to the Columbia River for fishing at Steamboat Landing or walks down the levee trail to Capt. William Clark Park. Steigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge features 1,049 acres of former Columbia River floodplain with more than 200 species of birds having been recorded. The Washougal River provides year-round recreation including kayaking, fishing and swimming.

At Marina Park visitors can stroll the walking paths, picnic on a table or under a tree or on the deck overlooking the busy marina. Boaters of all types moor and launch their watercraft year round to enjoy all the Columbia River has to offer.
