Ok.... after all the years of living in Alaska, this one is definitely the craziest 😲 I told ya it was cold!!!

Mickey Kenny stumbled across this frozen moose the other day in Talkeetna. He says it looked like something might have been feeding on it after it died because there was no blood on the snow. The subzero temperatures lately might have contributed to its death. For about 10 days, in the meadow where the moose was found, it was around -35.

It's been mighty cold In AK this winter. Temps last week hit -23' at our place 🥶😱We have a lot of snow on the ground, which makes it more bearable. And the cold temps usually mean bright sun 😎Supposed to warm up to a balmy 25' this week 💃

Just finished hosting a wildlife oil painting workshop @ my studio (located on same property as cabins). Painted this brown bear, trying to make sure I remember everything about the technique that was taught by the visiting artist. The Prowler . 11x 14 oil .
