Hello DT6 family!
We have something really cool to share with you guys.

We were approached last year to film an ice fishing segment for American Dream Network - Alaska Lifestyle. They wanted to showcase a 🇺🇸 Veteran owned & operated company who have chosen to reside in Alaska post military service.

We had such an awesome day filming this, things could not have went any better.

We want to once again thank MJ Motta - Realtor for the opportunity!!!!!

This episode as well as others will be aired on several different streaming platforms. We will announce those dates and where to find them when the information becomes available.

We don't normally share our personal fishing photos (prefer to showcase our customers 😉), but this was the first weekend in 2025 we did not have a booking or volunteering with Hardwater Warriors. We took advantage of the amazing weather, in case you can't tell we had a blast!! 🤩

We are happy to announce we will be offering a second type of snowmachine ice fishing excursion for 2026! We have been polishing up some final details and acquiring all of the correct equipment to make these trips possible. The excursion will include targeting Arctic Char (catch & release only), Burbot + Rainbow Trout!

They are here for the ceremonial The Iditarod start/running of the reindeer in Anchorage and visiting friends at the 🦌 Williams Reindeer Farm in Palmer. Today's customers wanted to learn as much as possible on how to become a self sufficient 🧊🐟 ice fishermen. Retirement is on the horizon and this grandfather wants to get his grandkids out fishing in his free time. We covered everything from ice safety, shelters, heaters, how to set-up equipment, modern augers, necessary tackle/gear, and finally fishing techniques. At the conclusion of the trip he was raring to get out on the ice and start his own family fishing adventures!

It is for service members and their families stationed at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson - JBER . These events are always a memorable one!

A beautiful morning on the hard water! This family braved driving the ALCAN from North Carolina to Alaska in the winter...towing a camper! We were kept busy with their 4yr old angler who put on a fish clinic for his 1 year old brothers + parents. 🤩 That's nothing better than to get kids hooked on fishing.

Today was also the first outing for our new compact diesel heater being used to heat our large shelters. They offer carbon monoxide free, moisture free, fume free, & temperature adjustable forced air. It did a terrific job of keeping everybody toasty warm and comfortable!! Not to mention the windows did not fog up (like with propane heaters) so everybody could watch the sunrise from inside the tent! 🌞

Our new friend from Texas is an aircraft pilot ✈️👩‍✈️spending some time in Alaska and wanted an ice fishing challenge. Sonia put together a game plan to take on Big Lake and it turned out to be a world class day on the ice!

We filmed an ice fishing adventure for an upcoming episode of "Selling Alaska" where MJ Motta - Realtor from VAREP - South Central Alaska Chapter not only is a realtor but showcases 🇺🇲 Veteran businesses and what great things Alaska has to offer. Everybody had a blast and we captured every possible bit of "best scenario" footage you could imagine to highlight fishing!!!!

The Love & Passion we have for fishing has grown in to a small business affair. Join us for an adventure.

We are both Retired Air Force Veterans with 42 years of combined Active Duty service. The Air Force brought us to gorgeous Alaska and little did we know we would fall in love with it. Alaska is the place we call "Home" now. Fishing is a passion our family has grown to love throughout the years and since moving to Alaska, it has opened our eyes to pristine views and endless opportunities for fishing.

Our Fishing Excursions are available ALL YEAR ROUND. We currently provide trips in the Matanuska-Susitna (Matsu) Valley. The locations we frequently visit are Wasilla, Palmer, Willow, Houston, Meadow Lakes and Big Lake area. Luckily Anchorage is only a 40-60 minute drive to any of these locations.

Children of all ages are welcome on our adventures. Seeing your child catch their first fish is a picture of a lifetime. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture these priceless moments. In the winter time while fishing on the ice, an insulated ice shanty, chairs, and heater are readily available for you and your family in case you get cold.
