Day 1. 6:00am: Pick-up Chase Parkway Commuter Lot, Waterbury
Board your Town & Country luxury motor coach with wifi onboard, for a great trip to Lancaster Pa. Rest stops & Lunch (on own) on the way. Arriving at the Bird-in Hand Family Inn for our 2-night stay. We will check in, rest a bit & head down to the Bird-in-Hand Theatre for a great evening. Starting with the 3:00pm show, “Comedy Jubilee”. A little bit of Rock& Roll & a whole lot of laughs. After the show we will head upstairs for our dinner buffet. Time to say goodnight after dinner unless you want to go to the indoor pool or whirlpool bath. Pool is open until 10:00pm.
Day 2: Breakfast will start @9:00am for those wanting to take the bus down to the restaurant. If you wish to go earlier, its ok. After breakfast we will board the bus and head to the Sight & Sound Millennium Theatre. The show starts at 11:30am. You will have time for pictures and the gift shop. Set in the opulent yet perilous Persian Empire, QUEEN ESTHER is a captivating tale of beauty and bravery. Esther’s ordinary life changed forever when she was taken through the palace doors, entering a new world of royalty and risk.
After the show we will board our motor coach and go to the Central Market in Lancaster. There you will spend 2 hours shopping and eating. One of the oldest markets in the country. You will see the crafts, food, produce and more. It's unique in that it also has a lot of Amish and Mennonite stands with homemade food and crafts. Dinner tonight will be family style, with 16 different foods to try at the Good & Plenty Restaurant.
Day 3: Breakfast at the hotel 8:00am. We will go back to our rooms after breakfast to pick up luggage and check out. We will leave the hotel at 10:45 to go to the Dutch Apple Theatre for their matinee performance of “Something Rotten”. Lunch will be served here also. After the show it’s time to head for home. Again, rest stops and dinner stop (on own).
Price: double (2people in a room) $492.00PP. Approx. time of arrival home 10:30pm.
Cancellation insurance will be bought thru Travel Insured International.
