Operation Good Cheer, one of our favorite annual events, brought the holiday spirit to life once again this year! Organized by Child and Family Charities, this special event helped deliver over 20,000 gifts to foster children across the state of Michigan.

Dedicated volunteers, pilots, and community members came together to sort gifts and load them onto planes and trucks, ensuring every child experiences the magic of the holidays. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us in making this season brighter for deserving children!

One of our proudest partnerships began in 2011 when we started managing operations for a local professional basketball team, providing seamless travel solutions tailored to their unique needs. This collaboration set the stage for current relationships with other professional sports franchises.

Our reach didn’t stop with sports. We’ve also played a role in the broader cultural landscape, partnering with high-profile clients such as Fortune 100 companies and hotel and gaming industry giants.

We’re always looking for ways to redefine the aviation experience. In 2011, with our FAR 135 abilities, we supported scheduled service charter operations, bringing a new level of convenience and reliability to private aviation. In 2018 we partnered with Gogo to develop the first-ever Gogo L5 STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) for Gulfstreams—a game-changing moment that transformed in-flight connectivity and revolutionized the way our clients stay connected in the air.

As the premier private aviation services provider in the United States, we’ve built a legacy of trust and excellence. While safety and quality will always be our top priority, it’s forward-thinking innovations like the Gogo L5 system and subsequent Galileo HDX system that will be implemented this year, that help us deliver on our promise to exceed expectations at every turn.

In the 1990s, we found a new home at Oakland County International Airport, solidifying our position as a leader in private aviation. By 2000, we had built a state-of-the-art facility that set new industry standards, including a custom-designed hangar to accommodate a diverse range of aircraft and an on-site U.S. Customs office for seamless international travel.

These enhancements weren’t just about infrastructure—they represented our drive to create a world-class experience for our clients. From this new base, we have continued to grow, innovate, and set benchmarks in private aviation.

Innovation has always been in our DNA. In the 1980s and 90s, Pentastar took part in groundbreaking ozone research in the South Pacific—one of the first of its kind.

Doug Levangie and Jeff Galbraith spent over 30 days traveling the globe in Chrysler’s GII aircraft, acting as flight engineers and cabin attendants. They conducted air sampling and worked with scientists from around the world to better understand the ozone layer. This ambitious project spanned thousands of miles and showcased our commitment to pushing the limits of aviation and science.
