Even though I am on break from the school I teach at, I cannot seem to give myself a break. I decided to put together a video of what effects pedals I feel are necessary for a starting violinist (A very subjective overview of what I recommend for people). Of course no pedal is actually necessary, but this is where I first suggest friends get when they start out.

Updated pedalboard. I removed my octave pedal because... 7-strings is more than enough. It is replaced with an always on...

Updated pedalboard. I removed my octave pedal because... 7-strings is more than enough. It is replaced with an always on strobe tuner to help with intonation, especially on low notes when I may not be able to hear it clearly. I also turned my volume/wah pedal into an expression pedal for the looper volume.
