It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Ted Decker. Ted is leaving behind a legacy of wit and a passion for fishing that will forever be cherished. Ted grew up with an innate sense of humor. His quick wit was infectious, and he had an uncanny ability to find humor even in the most challenging situations. His clever remarks and quick comebacks will forever echo in the hearts of his friends and family. Ted's work ethic was truly commendable. A force to be reckoned with, Ted was a strong-willed individual who never backed down from a challenge. He faced life's hurdles head-on, never letting setbacks deter him. His strength and resilience continue to inspire us all to face life's trials with courage and determination. One of Ted's greatest passions was fishing. The tranquil moments spent on the water, fishing pole in hand, brought him immeasurable joy. He relished in the excitement of the chase and the peacefulness that enveloped him as he connected with nature. His love for fishing was infectious, and he eagerly shared his knowledge and skills with anyone willing to listen. The memories of him helping customers catching their dream on the Sunbeam will forever be etched in our hearts. We ended our Blackfishing season on a high note with lots of big fish, the biggest being Dan’s, 21.5 pounder. Certainly a great black fish season and a great year. Overall thank you for joining us. Happy holidays we look forward to seeing you all in 2024.

Big congrats to Dan the Man for catching a whopping 21.5 pound Blackfish aboard the Sunbeam VII today! Our Blackfishing trip for tomorrow is cancelled, however we will still be sailing Sunday as well as Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday next week!
