Join us in giving a warm welcome to our new Director of Events, Emily Seliga! 🎉

Emily is a Cedar Valley native, graduating from Cedar Falls High School before studying and obtaining a degree in Business Administration from the University of Northern Iowa. Emily previously worked for the City of Waterloo for nearly two years in their Planning and Zoning Department.

Many people may know Emily from her volunteer work. Through her years of volunteering, she has helped plan and execute events such as My Waterloo Days, Iowa Irish Fest, and Iowa Oktoberfest. She also volunteers frequently as a board member of Main Street Waterloo. Emily loves to meet new people, learn different skills, and make a positive impact on the community. When she isn't working or helping out around town, she enjoys running and training for various races, especially triathlons.

We are excited to have you on our team, Emily! 👏
