"We were not ready for the totally unexpected moody and inviting interior at Breakout. This downtown coffeehouse and Cafe has an incredible mix of art deco, rustic, modern, and even some Victorian touches that feel so warm and inviting on a cold day. We tried a seasonal gingerbread drink and a beautiful breakfast sandwich served with fresh fruit to start our day, and we’re still thinking about it a week later! With comfortable seating and ambient lighting, this is the perfect place for conversation, reading, and relaxing."

If you are a regular, Odyssey has refillable buckets you can bring back for a special on popcorn! 🍿

Winter Wonderland is a festive drive-through light display organized by the Watertown Optimist Club, perfect for all ages. It features a variety of illuminated displays, including reindeer, candy canes, school buses, and farm combines. The event highlights the community's spirit, with local businesses and organizations coming together to create a magical holiday experience.

For a truly magical Christmas experience, gather the kids and head to Santaland! This creative transformation of a space in Watertown’s mall offers an enchanting walk-through filled with holiday scenes. Santaland is a cherished addition to the Watertown community and absolutely worth the trip. A standout feature is the impressive igloo constructed from over 1,000 milk jugs—a whimsical and unforgettable display.

Hurry—the 21st is the final day to experience Santaland!

"The vibe of Makepeace Jewelers in downtown, Watertown is truly peaceful, glimmering, and kind. We stopped to admire the beautiful diamonds, precious stones, chains, earrings, pearls, and everything shiny that you can think of! The staff was beyond helpful and happy to see everyone who walked through the door, and we felt completely at home, especially with their Christmas cookies out and beautiful holiday decor throughout the store. With gifts and treasures for every price range, we will be coming back for all things that glitter!"

There’s still time to grab your tickets for Breakfast with Santa at the Bramble Park Zoo this Saturday, December 7th, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. This is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season with your family, so don’t miss out!

Enjoy breakfast from Tropical Smoothie Cafe, meet Santa, and join in on the fun with holiday crafts, Christmas movies, and a chance to see the Zoo animal ambassadors. Santa will be greeting families until 9:30 a.m. Plus, the zoo will open early and nice weekend weather is forecasted, which means it is the perfect time to visit the animals.

Tickets are just $8 in advance or $10 at the door. Kids 2 and under eating with the family will need a free ticket. You can pick up tickets at the Zoo or County Fair. Bring your camera and get ready for a morning of festive fun.
