What are the family suites we always rave about at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort?

The family suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort are designed to provide a spacious and immersive experience for families. Each suite features theming from favorite Disney films such as Finding Nemo, Cars, or The Lion King, bringing beloved characters and vibrant colors to life.

One thing we enjoyed that isn’t a feature, but a major perk, is the outlets everywhere! There was no shortage on places to charge electronics. The resort itself is heavily themed and has Skyliner access, making it such a wonderful choice!

Themed to the Pixar Animation Studios film, “Coco”, the Disney Treasure cruise ship will feature fun live performances and beloved characters. Watch the story of Miguel and the Rivera family come to life, right where you left off on screen from the movie!

I know the big question is, what’s on the menu? Mexican-inspired cuisines like Abuelita Elena Shrimp Diabla, Luisa’s Pollo Asado and for something sweet, Mexican Chocolate Tart. Don’t worry, there’s still some family favorites for our picky Mouseketeer’s too!

🎨 DISNEY TREASURE ARTWORK

Senior Concept Designer, Lina Barr worked so hard to make these beautiful pieces come to life on Disney’s newest cruise ship, the Disney Treasure.

The journey begins with a discussion with the Walt Disney Imagineering team, where she discovers the unique theming of each venue planned for the Disney Treasure, including the Agrabah-inspired Grand Hall and the Jungle Cruise-themed lounge, Skipper Society. This isn't just a standard meeting; it's a genuine collaborative brainstorming session between artist and interior designer. These discussions inspire Lina to create vibrant artwork that enhances each space on board. She starts by crafting rough sketches on her computer, gradually adding color and intricate details.

The true magic shines in the small touches Lina incorporates into her creations, from hidden Mickeys to story-driven Easter eggs that guests can uncover during their journey. Once a project is finished, Lina delights in seeing guests respond to her designs as they stumble upon the secret narratives that only devoted Disney fans would recognize.

The artwork looks truly stunning, we can’t wait to see it!
