Yesterday, the Disney Treasure embarked on its transatlantic journey from Eemshaven, Netherlands to its future home in Port Canaveral, Florida.

What a surprise this morning, Disney dropped some huge news!

Disney Parks will be piloting a new option called Lightning Lane Premier Pass (both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort)

✨Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be offered in very limited quantities and will give guests one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane entrance in the theme park they are visiting that day. This includes attractions included in both Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass, but with Lightning Lane Premier Pass, guests do not need to select an experience time. Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be a premium offering, and prices will vary based on the date and theme park guests are visiting.

✨ At Disneyland Resort, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be available first come, first served beginning two days in advance of a theme park reservation and will be valid for use in both theme parks. The first date it will be available is October 23, 2024.

✨ At Walt Disney World, when Lightning Lane Premier Pass launches, it will be available to guests staying at Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resorts and may be purchased up to seven days in advance of their stay. It will only be valid for use in one park of the guest’s choice per day. The first date it will be available is October 30, 2024.

💸 Prices for Lightning Lane Premier Passes vary by date and theme park. At launch, prices will range from $129 to $449 per pass, plus tax with the highest prices falling on a limited number of days over peak travel periods. Eligible guests will be able to view prices in the My Disney Experience app.

This seems like it may be a much easier system. To sum it up, you pay one fee and get entrance into each Lightning Lane available at that park, once per person. At it is at a lower cost than VIP tours.

Our guests secured their stay at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort for their next Walt Disney World vacation!

As the central hub for Disney’s Skyliner, the ease of transportation is a huge bonus. There’s a playground, splash area, and numerous pools and hot tubs. With a larger dining area in Central Market and the smaller Spyglass Grill in the Trinidad South area, there’s great food to eat and beautiful scenery for walks along the way! You can even take a Skyliner ride or quick walk to Disney’s Riviera Resort for a change of scenery. This resort is an overall slam dunk and checks so many boxes for so many families!

Before we go back to our regularly scheduled content, I wanted to leave with a few resources if you’re interested in helping those impacted by hurricanes Helene & Milton. Some organizations we have found that are on ground doing a ton of hard work are:

I’m sure there’s a lot of others doing amazing things too, I’m just highlighting some for monetary donations.

Next week there’s supposed to be freezing temperatures in North Carolina, and so many are without homes, power, and resources. Please check your local groups for pickup/drop off locations for physical donations, we had a few locals we donated warm clothes to who personally drove them down, but there’s other organizations as well!

Our hearts go out to all those affected, and we thank you for keeping them in yours too. ❤️

Official statement-

The Walt Disney World theme parks, Disney Springs and possibly other areas will reopen on Friday, October 11.

We’re grateful Walt Disney World weathered the storm, and we are currently assessing the impacts to our property to prepare for reopening the theme parks, Disney Springs and possibly other areas tomorrow, Oct. 11. Our hearts are with our fellow Floridians who were impacted by this storm.

From Disney Destinations-

We continue to closely monitor the path of Hurricane Milton. Based on the latest projection, we are making additional operational adjustments for the safety of our Guests and Cast Members beginning tomorrow, Oct. 9.

The Walt Disney World Emergency Operations Center is connected to weather experts and community leaders. Please know these adjustments have been made in order to leave plenty of time for our Guests and Cast Members to return to their Resort hotels or homes safely hours before higher winds are expected to reach Central Florida.

Operational Impacts Include:

👉 Walt Disney World Theme Parks-
On Oct. 9, our theme parks and Disney Springs will be closed in phases beginning at 1 p.m. Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will close at 1 p.m. Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Disney Springs will close at 2 p.m.It is likely the theme parks will remain closed on Thursday, Oct. 10. We will consider opening Disney Springs Thursday late afternoon with limited offerings.

This includes the cancellation of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom on Oct. 10. Event tickets will be refunded.

👉Disney Resort Hotel Closures-
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will temporarily close beginning at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9. They are likely to remain closed until Sunday, Oct. 13.

👉Transportation-
Walt Disney World Transportation will stop operating Wednesday, Oct. 9 after Disney Springs and the Walt Disney World theme parks close. Limited Minnie Van and Mears taxi service will be available to Walt Disney World Resort Guests.

👉Recreation-
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf will be closed on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Disney’s Blizzard Beach remains closed for planned refurbishment.
Reservations for Dining and Other Experiences

Effective immediately, Disney will not enforce cancellation policies until further notice for dining and other experiences. Pre-paid bookable experiences will be automatically refunded within 7 to 10 business days.

Due to potential weather impacts to guest travel plans, change and cancellation fees imposed by Disney will be waived for check-in dates of Tuesday, 10/8 - Monday, 10/14.

Monitoring Hurricane Milton

We are closely monitoring the path of the projected storm, and the safety of our Guests and Cast Members remains our top priority. Walt Disney World Resort is currently operating under normal conditions and will continue to be on Tuesday, Oct. 8. Looking ahead, we are making adjustments based on the latest weather forecast and some areas with unique environments.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, the Copper Creek Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will temporarily close beginning at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

The reopening timeline for the resort remains tentative, and subject to safety conditions.

Good Evening everyone!

I am sure by now you have seen what is about to happen, again, to the state of Florida. We have a lot of guests on property, and a lot who's plans are affected. In addition, we also have agents, family, and friends that are local who are evacuating their homes.

We are sending so much love to our guests, agents, and vendor staff during this time. We also kindly ask for your patience, as both ourselves and our vendors like Disney and Universal are using all of their resources on impacted guests this upcoming week.

I feel it is not ethical for me to post about all the vacations things like nothing is happening this week, so as the days go on, I will be sharing more about helping. Thank you so much for giving us grace as we work hard to support our guests, and please keep those in the path of Hurricane Milton in your thoughts. We appreciate you, and thank you again!

I have been seeing a lot of availability for the new promotions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!

What makes this resort so unique and different compared to everywhere else?

🦒Eco-Friendly Practices-They are committed to sustainability, incorporating environmentally friendly practices in their operations.

🦒 Night Safari Experience- this Enchanting Extra is an experience to remember, and such a cool sight in the evening!

The Disney Magic was ✨magic✨!

Some things I loved about this ship:

🌟 Like its sister ship, the Disney Wonder, the night clubs and lounges are all in the same vicinity. I found this layout to be very convenient!

🌟 Rapunzel’s Royal Table was a blast! This was a huge focal point for us when sailing on this ship, because she’s a favorite in this house!

🌟 The size was not overwhelming. For first-time cruisers, mega ships can be a lot. This is excellent to drop your toes in and get used to the layout and cruising in general. If you’re a seasoned cruiser, the layout is simple to navigate!

🌟 All the amenities I’m used to on Disney Cruise Line were here! The fabulous ports of call, the great food, the room service, and character interactions are all high caliber. The Royal Gathering, Marvel meet and greets, and the Disney entertainment they are known and loved for were all just steps away!

I’m so happy I got to meet some of my Magic Mom Travel friends too! We truly have such a wonderful team, and it was such an honor to sail with them and meet their families they brought!

Disney’s Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point was a beautiful paradise! Such clear waters and plush sand.

We were lucky enough to get a family cabana, and had a gorgeous view of the ship!

Alright everyone! Here is the look at the 2 bedroom villas at Disney’s Riviera Resort! I think this room may have been bigger than my house! I also did Disney a day and a half after an emergency appendectomy so try to ignore the scooter in the middle of the room, and my baby being a bit cranky! It adds to the charm I suppose 🤣 I really enjoyed this resort, and will be posting pictures as I can!
