Once in a while someone enters your life in a different way than most and that person becomes someone that you will always remember and makes you smile everytime you think about them. Jay Zurowski was that guy for me. Jay always made me laugh and even when he was cranky, he was fun to be around. Jay and Jane crewed for us alot back in our "pre-kid" years and through their toddler years. Always dependable and always a lot of fun to hang out with. They became family. They were great crew, loved ballooning and loved our family. They were awesome with our kids when they could be a real handful. They traveled with us across the country to balloon events in Albuquerque, Indianola, Carolina Balloonfest, Kentucky Derby Festival and countless flights and events here in WI. I cant say the number "44" or eat a corn dog without thinking of Jay and Jane. Jay in a better place now after some suffering, but he alway held his head high and loved Jane more than life itself. I cant help but think he anquished about being a burden on Jane, which I am sure he never was. but he lived his life to make her life better. Jane is strong and will miss him greatly as we all will. Godspeed my friend and know that we will make sure Jane is never lonely.
