Wausau Events' annual Winter Weekend in Downtown Wausau is almost here! Two days of fun featuring the Winter Brew Fest and a family-friendly Winter Fest. ❄️

Excited to see more barn quilts around Marathon County.

We are excited to partner with Visit Wausau: Wausau/Central Wisconsin CVB to introduce a Barn Quilt Revival project we'd like to kick off annually!

6 applicants will be granted a free barn quilt to either create their own barn quilt for their farm OR restore their old one. Any Marathon County farm can apply. The application will open up in April to attendees of the presentation by RISE UP Central Wisconsin on the History & Design Meaning of Barn Quilts.

Through the rest of Spring, we'll work with awarded applications on the genealogy of potential past designs for their family farm or create new designs based on the meaning and purpose of their farm.

We plan to grow Marathon County's barn quilts each year to have a full Barn Quilt Tour that Visit Wausau can provide!

The community will be invited to help paint the applications barn quilt and come together to support these local farm owners!

Thanks to the generous volunteer, Robert's Residential & Rental Repairs, LLC, and other volunteers; barn quilts will be installed in July 2025!

It’s so sad, but we’re closing 💔

It’s very hard for me to share this, but I want to be honest with you, as always. We will be closing our Just Right: Cakes, Coffee, Gifts. January 18, 2025, will be our last day.

This decision was incredibly difficult for us. Your warm support, love, and kindness have been the most amazing gift. You are truly the best community in the world, and we proudly call you our family. 🥹❤️

The reason for this change is our upcoming move at the end of January. Our very close friends from our hometown, Kharkiv, Ukraine, invited us to live with them and think about a new project together. We thought about it for a long time and decided to give it a try. We feel that if we don’t take this chance, we’ll never know what could have been. And we know that no matter what happens, we can always return to this beloved town with its wonderful people—or visit during holidays if everything works out! 🌍💛

We’ve also been thinking about what to do with the shop. It’s heartbreaking for us to close it completely because we’ve put so much love, time, and effort into building it—Anton created every corner with his own hands. So, if anyone is interested in opening their own retail store or coffee shop, please contact us. We are selling all the equipment, and it’s possible to transfer the lease agreement to a new tenant.

In the meantime, we are open until January 18 and will continue selling our delicious, unique Ukrainian and European cakes and desserts for you. So, if you haven’t tried them yet—or want to enjoy them as much as possible—please visit us. We’d be so happy to see you! 🥰

Lastly, I want to say sorry if, at any moment, we didn’t meet your expectations or disappointed you. Thank you for your incredible support. We truly love you all. 💕
