I'm happy to say I can now offer Uplift, a monthly payment plan option, to my clients for travel! There must be a booking window of at least 11 days to use, as well as a budget of $150 - $15,000, in order to use. Uplift is for anyone who doesn't want to come completely out of pocket upfront for their trip, and instead wishes to spread the cost over a period of time. Now it's time to catch some flights! ;)

Rail vacations are a great happy medium between independent travel (hopping on a plane and exploring) and a guided vacation (having a tour guide every step of the way)! It offers a schedule and destinations, allowing you to have a taste of different areas. Rail vacations are available in many areas, and include hotel accommodations, train transportation, passes and tours!

I charge the client nothing extra to book your vacation. I take the stress out of planning while you just enjoy your vacation!

Don’t do THIS on public transportation in . Japanese people are all about manners and being considerate. That includes not having phone conversations in cramped spaces. It’s considered rude to have everyone else overhear your conversation. Sure, it won’t get you thrown in jail, but it could get you a few side eyes 👀!

Only do this if you are financially responsible! Ready to catch some flights but the cost holds you up?

Get a credit card that rewards you with travel points and put purchases on it each month that you are ALREADY GOING TO PAY FOR. Things like phone bill, power bill etc.

Every time you make this purchase on the card, transfer funds from your bank to a separate account so you won’t forget, spending that money instead of paying the credit bill. Each month use your set-aside funds to pay it off before interest accumulates.

Make your money do double work for you!!!

Tip: be sure to research the worth of the “miles” before getting a particular card.
And be sure to check if the card has an annual fee etc - in other words, make sure it’s going to work FOR you, not against you.

Note: it may take a billing cycle or 2 for the points to register on your account.

Ready to use those points? When I book your trip, use the same card and you’ll be able to redeem the points when the trip purchase registers on the account!

You’ve wanted to travel outside the US but you’re afraid you’ll do something wrong and end up in jail. Avoiding that is pretty simple! We’ve all seen examples of American citizens getting arrested on the news. However, it could’ve been avoided by doing a simple google search!

The issue is usually people don’t take the time to research local laws. Here’s a tip: you can’t go to someone else’s house and NOT FOLLOW THE HOUSE RULES.

Copenhagen has "harbor baths", swimming areas off the harbor for the public to swim in! There are even baths/pools made very shallow for children. The water has been tested for public safety and lifeguards oversee the area.

I help US citizens with their travel needs in the US or abroad. My main interest is booking international travel, especially European countries, Japan, and am choosing to specialize in those areas. I’m most interested in booking hotel, flight, and rail vacations (aka train).

I was born and raised in southern USA, but for as long as I can remember, I've been interested in outside cultures. I finally decided to mix my interest of other peoples & countries with a career choice, which brought me here.

Current specialties are: Denmark, Central Europe (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary) , London, Japan, Las Vegas, and Paris, and this list is growing every week as I continue my education!

Even if a specific area is not yet on my "specialty list", I can still help you as it is my job to do the research FOR YOU, and I am included in a vast community of veteran travel agents that I can simply ask for recommendations to build your perfect trip.

Did you know that even if you book a trip yourself on a booking site, someone somewhere is getting paid for that trip? Which brings me to my point: why not let me do the work for you, instead of you spending all your free time trying to figure out where to go and what to do?
