The College of the Siskiyous Foundation will host their 38th Annual Scholarship Fundraising Dinner and Auction on Saturday, October 12th at Sons of Italy Hall in W**d.

The event will begin with doors opening at 5:30pm followed by buffet dinner at 7pm. The evenings program will include a Silent Auction, Dessert Auction, Coat of Many Colors Auction, and a special speaker program featuring several recent scholarship recipients.

Tickets are $30 per person (or $240 for a table of 8). The Sons of Italy members will provide a yummy homemade pasta dinner. The menu consists of pasta with a homemade meat sauce, homemade meatballs, green beans, salad, and French bread and butter. Those who prefer a meatless sauce option may have homemade Pesto sauce instead.

This annual event supports Siskiyou County students who attend College of the Siskiyous. All funds raised from the dinner support our Foundation Scholarship Program. A tremendous amount of work goes into planning this event and we hope to see you there. Contact the COS Foundation for tickets or information - 530/ 938-5373 or email [email protected].

Organizing a car show is no small feat, especially when faced with the unpredictability of inclement weather. It requires a tremendous amount of hard work, planning, and dedication from everyone involved. Despite the challenges that the rain and cold brought, the show had to go on—and it’s the tireless effort of the volunteers that made it possible.
While the weather may not always cooperate, the passion and determination of our team never wavered. It's a reminder that, even when things don’t go as planned, the dedication and hard work of everyone involved can turn challenges into triumphs, creating a memorable experience for all who attend.
I am deeply grateful for the hard work and dedication of everyone who contributed to making our car show a success. From the volunteers who spent countless hours setting up and ensuring everything ran smoothly, to the participants who brought their incredible vehicles and shared their passion, each person played a crucial role in creating an unforgettable experience.
Thank you to everyone who put in the hard work, rain or shine, to help us celebrate the love of cars and the community that surrounds it. Your contributions are the heart of our show, and we are profoundly grateful for all you do.
With appreciation,
Marie Gates-Green chairman

Today, we received an incredibly touching donation that reminds us of the deep connections and cherished memories that car shows create. A special person, who has been a longtime supporter of our events, donated a beautiful quilt and pillow made from her late husband's collection of car show t-shirts.

Her husband was a passionate car enthusiast, and together, they spent countless weekends at car shows, sharing their love for classic cars and the vibrant community that comes with it. This quilt, lovingly crafted from his favorite t-shirts, is more than just fabric—it's a tapestry of their shared experiences, a tribute to the joy they found in each event.

We are honored to receive this donation and will display the quilt at the Rollin-in-W**d Car & Bike Show tomorrow as a symbol of the lasting bonds and memories that car shows create. It's a powerful reminder that while cars may be the focus, it's the people and the stories behind them that truly make these events special.

We will be raffling off this beautiful quilt in the memory of Rich Young. A very special thank you goes out to Cheri Young for this very special donation.
