In our backyard…The red-tailed hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) is a large, broad-winged bird of prey native to North America. It’s known for its wide wingspan, chunky body, and reddish-brown tail feathers. Appearance: Red-tailed hawks are light to deep brown with lighter underbellies and a dark band across their chests. Their tails can be solid rufous or banded brown, and adults usually have a narrow dark band at the tip.

You will get a separate ride up there (uber) and then paddle down river all the way home. Float past gorgeous Mother Nature, manatee, otters, deer and crystal clear water. The whole adventure takes about 3-4 hours so pack a lunch in some Tupperware and enjoy a picnic on the water. State Park fee to launch is just $8.
