Mermaid Cove offers 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with space for 7. Pirate’s Cove is a 2 story duplex consisting of Captain’s Quarters, a 2/1

upstairs with space for 7 and Mermaid Landing, a 1/1 downstairs with space for 4. Chubby Mermaid is our newest addition with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths that sleeps up to 8 and a huge back porch with the most amazing sunset views! Kayaks and canoes are included in your stay for an easy paddle to the famous Hospital Hole, restaurants and local recreation area. There are plenty of restaurants, shops and recreation and entertainment within a short driving distance, including the WORLD FAMOUS WEEKI WACHEE MERMAID SHOW at the Weeki Wachee Springs State Park also home of the Buccaneer Bay Waterpark! Pine Island beach is a short 10 minute drive where you can soak up the sun on the sand or watch a beautiful sunset. Boats can be rented at very reasonable prices only 10 minutes away at Hernando Beach for a day of fishing or scalloping in season! A little closer is Rogers Park, a little sandy beach on the river accompanied by a n adjacent riverfront restaurant. Or stay at the house and grill on the dock while you watch the local fish jump and see the manatees swim by. There is WiFi, a flat screen cable And Roku TV and games for your at home entertainment. Whether you are looking to relax, find an adventure or a mixture of both, look no further, Mermaid Cove, Pirate’s Cove and Chubby Mermaid are the places to book your next vacation!

Yay! Slowly but surely, getting back to normal.

Jenkins Creek Park has reopened!

Repairs have been made to the fishing pier.

There is a ramp that leads to the floating dock that remains closed, however, there is another ramp next to it that provides access to the same dock. The closed ramp will be repaired shortly.

The restroom building remains closed, but there are
porta-potties in place.

Everything else in the park can be accessed.

Amazing what 5 1/2 feet of surge can do to a property that has been there since the mid 1960’s. The foundation peeps are working on supporting the building and making sure it never moves again. Next, stucco repairs, then we can start putting things back together. Hoping Sirenity and Muddy Mermaid will be up and running by mid December and Vintage Mermaid and Salty Siren will be accepting guests in the new and improved rooms by February. Stay tuned for a grand reopening at Neptune’s Grotto Old Florida Adventure Retreat! 🧜‍♀️ 🧜‍♂️ 💕
