We provide a set of clean bed linens and towels, a brand new full kitchen with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, a Keurig coffee maker and coffee. There's a living room with 2 recliners, a natural gas fireplace, comfy queen bedroom with adjacent modern bathroom, large front porch with swing, air conditioning, gas grill, picnic table, fire ring, free unlimited calls on a land line phone with voice mail, streaming HDTV, DVD player and high speed WIFI internet. We have 5 bars of AT&T and T-Mobile cell service at the cottage. In the heart of scenic "PA Wilds" we offer a clean, comfortable, cottage for two at the northern end of the PA Grand Canyon. The Vogel Nest is only 100 yards from the Pine Creek Rail Trail. It's a mile from the big Meadows Canoe Access to Pine Creek. Pine Creek Outfitters is less than 2 miles away. For hikers and backpackers the northern terminus parking lot for the 30 mile West Rim Trail is less than 2 miles from the cottage. Less than 2 miles from the cottage there's a 3.3 mile delayed harvest "Keystone Select" section on Pine Creek. Trout 15-20", up to 25" are stocked for a "Montana like experience". Colton Point and Leonard Harrison State Parks are less than 7 miles from the Vogel Nest. Historic Wellsboro is about 9 miles away. Ride hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails right from the cottage. Along with muskrat and beaver, you'll find nesting bald eagles, herons, kingfishers, ducks and geese in the area.
