From Superintendent Parks:

In the past few days we have seen an uptick in discolored water complaints.
The more we flush to clear these areas the more we disrupt the system. Currently we have not had rain in several weeks so Residents are using more water.

Water Restrictions are in place Odd/Even Only Watering allowed between 5PM and 9AM

These restrictions serve several purposes.

1. To stabilize the Distribution System to avoid large volume turnovers and
2. To preserve your aquifer for future generations.

Nothing in the treatment end of our system has changed, but large uses in our distribution system have.

We will begin our Annual flushing program during the first week of September, after we clear our required bacteria sampling. This flushing program will last through mid October.

We apologize for the inconvenience and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact the water department at (508) 894-1271.
