Hiked three miles around amazing world of wonders Victoria falls. Of course I was exhausted but our day continued with a visit to a village. We met with the chief who talked our ear off but he meant well. Of course a donation was involved with a purchase of art created by a handicap women. Next we stopped at at least five pharmacies to find a cream that I don't want to leave with out. Lunch at look out cafe was spectacular then off to our lodge for a quick nap. Tonight we're headed to Three Monkeys for dinner. Early walk up call tomorrow we're off to Botswana for a safari in. Chobe!! Can't wait 👍

Glad we're spending five nights in Victoria falls! The bush is different from South Africa! Relaxed

Last month we spent the perfect day visiting the Alsace countryside driving the famous wine trail route des vins 🍷

The Alsace region can be found in the very eastern side of France in a valley along the Rhine River that separates France and Germany.

We stopped for a wine tasting at Domaine Fritz-Schmitt, greeted by Antoine, the founder’s son, for a tasting of four wines produced on their estate.

We had a fantastic time!

We had an amazing time in Amsterdam and we can't wait to show you more from our travels as we headed to the Swiss Alps and Italy!

We wanted to share some of the things that we learned about getting around the city so here goes:

#1 I learned the city is in the process of rerouting roads so cars will not be welcome.

#2 Trams are a super easy way too get around!

#3 Bikes have the right away and there are more bike roads then walking paths in Amsterdam.

Overall, It's such a unique place filled with art, history, culture, food and so much more.

I would highly recommend going if you get the chance!

Spending several days in Amsterdam has been an education.

Of course, we had to spend time exploring Amsterdam’s extensive museums.

One such museum we visited was The Rijksmuseum, a Dutch national museum dedicated to arts and history.

The museum is located at the Museum Square in the borough of Amsterdam South, close to the Van Gogh Museum, the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, and the Concertgebouw.

We loved the model ship section (Model of the William Rex seen here), as well as the large collection of stunning artworks.

We highly recommend downloading the Rijksmuseum App to take advantage of the multimedia tours offered!
