We’re excited to welcome new owners to Ace Camps Travel, Vida Forrest y Salazar and Tanya Staples.
Before losing her brave and determined journey with cancer, our founder, Angela Ritchie, was in the process of selling Ace Camps Travel. Angela wanted to ensure the vision and community she built would continue to grow and thrive. Together with the Ace Camps Travel team, Angela decided to transition ownership to Vida and Tanya.
Vida and Tanya have worked together for more than a decade. They share a passion for travel, a love for education, and can usually be found nerding out over crafty endeavors. Tanya met Angela and Jessica Stuart-Crump, our Director of Trip Design, on a trip to Laos. She fell in love with the concept and community of Ace Camps Travel, leading her to join other trips. Vida just took a year-long career break to travel the world, visiting local artisans and learning about traditional handcrafts. Angela felt their passion and experience was the right fit to lead Ace Camps Travel into the future.
A Hello from Vida and Tanya:
Honored and excited doesn’t begin to describe how we feel about joining the Ace Camps Travel team. We met over a decade ago and our friendship grew deep as we discovered our mutual love of travel, food, culture, and art. When the opportunity arose to work with Angela to transition the company, we felt an enormous sense of gratitude. We love how Ace Camps Travel brings together artists and travelers, creating the perfect environment for inspiration to strike, creativity to flow, and connections to bloom.
What you can expect:
We fell in love with all the things that make Ace Camps Travel special and we don’t plan on changing any of that—you can expect more amazing trips featuring unique destinations, talented artists, and inspiring experiences, all crafted with the same care and attention to detail you’ve come to know and love.
