I spent the day with dear friends/clients at Secrets in San José del Cabo. Had a wonderful time!

Thoughts…

Yes, I get it that there are plusses and minuses to staying at an all-inclusive.

But as I wandered around the resort these are the things I really liked about this particular one:

*adults only
*food was good depending on the restaurant
*poolside service A++ (loved the ceviche, burrito, and agua chile)
*I booked the least expensive room category which is “garden view” but had an incredible view of the ocean
*staff super friendly and accommodating
*plenty of off-site activities available
*the vibe allowes complete strangers to hang out together to forge new friendships
*the acrobatics show that night was excellent

So… although I sell both boutique and AI resorts, your choice comes down to what fits for YOU and what you want your vacation to
look like. I’m here to help.

A few weeks ago, my company had the privilege of being invited to Baja Expeditions' luxury tented camp on the shores of San Ignacio Lagoon, BCS, MX.

The whole experience is quite unbelievable starting with a private charter out of San Jose del Cabo (incredibly beautiful 2 hour flight) and ending with the opportunity to pet the friendly gray whales that migrate to the lagoons to mate and have their babies.

The camp has several different tent styles (mine was the luxury tent), a dining tent and a bar tent (that doubles as the place they hold nightly lectures).

The service was phenomenal, the food was outstanding (three-course lunches and four-course dinners) and the experience of a gigantic whale swimming right up to the side of the panga for a scratch is absolutely indescribable.

I'm going through my whale camp photos and just wanted to share the coolest dolphin sequence. Not sure if they'll show up in the right order but we shall see!

I barely edited these... I think I just cropped them. They were shot in color but have a B&W look because of the glassiness of the water and the way the sun was hitting the lagoon at that moment.

Love it.

The largest painting of La Virgin de Guadalupe in Mexico. I took this in October while in La Crucecita, Oaxaca.

I drove from my house to Los Cabos today (2 hours) and witnessed hundreds of mexicans walking a very treacherous road to celebrate her. I felt worried for them.

But their dedication will live on and will inspire me in my life.
