Altogether, we have taken 49 cruises so far and have two more scheduled. The cruise industry is growing at a phenomenal rate. Approximately 80% of the population has never cruised. The new ships coming out are so awesome that they have become destinations in themselves. They now have full Broadway style shows, carousels, bumper cars, water shows, promenades, parks, circus style entertainment, amaz

ing restaurants, five star dining. The staterooms are magnificent as are the atriums. Many people never leave the ship even in exotic foreign ports.

My Cruise Travel New Year’s Resolutions 🛳️✈️✨

🛳️ Unplug more

As much as I want to capture the moments in a photo or short video, I realize I’m often not as present as I want to be. My goal is to really take in and savor the moments (while putting down my phone)

🛳️ Go somewhere I’ve never been

There’s something exciting about visiting a destination for the first time. This year I want to do a completely new itinerary or experience. If you have ideas, please let me know 👇

🛳️ Try a new cruise line

We’ve sailed on 6 cruise lines so far, but there are still more to try. My goal this year to book a cruise on a different cruise line (or two)!!

🛳️ Make time to read

I love to sit by the pool or on my balcony & read on a cruise, but somehow I’ve gotten out of the habit of reading. It’s such a simple thing, but I’d like to choose a book each cruise - and carve out time to read

🛳️ Appreciate it all

Cruising is the best way to vacation, and sometimes it takes being in a hotel, entertainment venue or land restaurant to remind me how good it is. I always appreciate cruising, the crew & the time spent with loved ones and new friends, but I want to make sure I hold that close throughout every experience!

🛳️ Get out of my comfort zone

I’m not really sure what that is yet. Last year it was flying & becoming more comfortable. I’m still a work in progress. But my I want to say yes more often, even when something scares me a little bit…
