History of this renovated mill
Logan Mill Lodge and Event Center includes 3 Vacation Rental Condos with overnight lodging capacity of 1 - 24 persons; 48 person capacity room for business meetings, parties, and banquets; and a restored Milwaukee Railroad Caboose! This building was built by the Cargill Company as a grain storage facility and operated as Westby Coop Seed Exchange from 1910-1940, then Ben Logan owned building 1940-1960's as Westby Feed & Seed, lastly owned and operated as a feed mill by FS before the mill was purchased and renovated by Ruth Ge**er Rupp. The building is now like a museum of Agriculture & Railroad History. Ruth operates a lodging business in the renovated mill and named her business "Logan Mill Lodge" in memory of Ben Logan.
