SOLD! My sellers are under contract and my buyers are getting a new home. It's called "Dual Agency" – when just one Realtor represents both sides of a sale. Instead of managing chess match-like negotiations with another Realtor, I become a mediator, frankly syncing up both buyer's and seller's needs. It's my favorite kind of transaction as I don't have to wonder what's happening on the other side, because I know first hand what's happening, and so can better adapt to and accommodate both party's needs on the month-long journey between signed purchase agreement and closing of the sale.

Shortly after 8a this morning 113 years ago, Katherine McPherson, office assistant of Dr. Helene Knabe would arrive at Dr. Knabes apartment/doctors office. She was a little bit later than normal as she had picked up some shoes at the @Stouts Footwear store on Mass Ave. She was surprised to find the doctors desk empty, as she normally started working early. Then she found her in her bedroom...... Thinking about Dr. Helene Knabe today, the anniversary of her murder (she was killed in the early morning hours of the 24th of October 1911 - a murder still unsolved to this day officially, despite a trial.....)
