Food is one of the most critical parts of a safe, enjoyable event.🍽️
Here are our planners' top 5 tips to ensure your event’s food and beverage menus are set up for success!
✔️ In addition to securing dietary needs during the online event registration, host a check-in desk on arrival day and ask every attendee to reconfirm their dietary needs and allergies.
✔️ During the pre-conference meeting with the hotel, address every attendee allergy and all food restrictions with your partners.
✔️ Request a special meeting with the chef to review all special instructions.
✔️ Make sure every food item is labeled correctly (you can request for signage to be added in the pre-planning, and double-check everything once set-up is complete)
✔️ Think about the host! Make sure the host and VIPs have food before the event. Often times they can be racing around at the beginning of an event and never get a chance to eat.
