A Davidscott carving that began its life in 1989. Sometimes unexpected things happen, like the defect that appeared while working this piece of Cherry. I was truly disappointed, after hrs of labor the hole started to open up between the right side of his face and hand and continued out between the barrel and his back. So after sitting around for almost 30 years I thought he needed to be finished.
