Sorry. Have to rant.... we are having trouble with guests taking things from our vacation rental when they leave. Please, just asking.. when you check out, just take wonderful memories of your stay.

The lake is 2 feet above normal for this time of year. It is being filled with tons of fresh water flowing in from 3 tributaries of the Feather River. It was beautiful at the beach today and I saw this Blue Tailed Skink while working in the garden. (Yesterday and today!) I read these are supposed to be extinct in the wild! What a special sight! What a special place Lake Almanor is!
