Bigfoot Wilderness Lodge is a vacation home with over 2500' of frontage on the Sturgeon River and 7 acres surrounded by the National Forest. Located near Munising and in the heart of the Hiawatha National Forest in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. We are just a short drive to Lake Superior, 17 waterfalls, Pictured Rocks, Kitch-iti-kipi and scenic route H-58. Enjoy year round activities right from the
door step that include snowmobiling, SxS and ORV riding, motorcycle routes, fishing, hunting, hiking, mountain, fat tire biking, canoe, kayak, or just relax and enjoy the view right from the lodge. Who knows, you might even get the opportunity to get a glimpse of Bigfoot too! Lodge amenities include three bedrooms “two private bedrooms with memory foam log queen beds and a third bedroom with a full over full log bunkbed.” One additional twin mattress is available upon request. One full size bathroom with on demand hot water and laundry area. All towels and bedding provided. Fully stocked kitchen that includes all cookware, tableware, coffee maker, toaster, blender, fridge, microwave, gas stove and necessary essentials. Wood stove with fire wood, wifi, 55" smart tv, furnace for heat, and central air. Outdoor amenities include deck overlooking the Sturgeon River and Hiawatha National Forest with views for the perfect sunrise or sunset. webber gas grill, webber charcoal grill, fire pit and parking for multiple vehicles and large trailers for your winter or summer toys.
