It’s going to be legendary! Giants, Armies and Empires await when “DAVID” takes the stage! You’re invited to journey alongside a passionate warrior as he faces unprecedented victories and devastating failures on a quest to become a man after God’s own heart! Venture from still waters to shadowed valleys as this legendary Bible story comes to life!
Includes: 3 days, 2 nights lodging at the Hampton Inn, Lancaster, PA, 2 continental breakfasts, 2 dinners: Miller’s Smorgasbord and Hershey Farm Restaurant, Step-on guided tour of the Amish Farmlands, Amish Country Homestead, Jacob’s Choice at Amish Experience Theater, stop at local Amish vendors to purchase homemade baked goods, crafts and souvenir items, Sight & Sound Theatre featuring “DAVID”, all taxes and gratuities on included meals and attractions and motor coach transportation.
Day 1, Friday, September 9
Depart 6am. Wal Mart, New Boston, OH. We travel to Lancaster, Pennsylvania for an unforgettable experience! Breakfast (on your own).There is so much to see and do in Pennsylvania Amish Country and we have chosen some great highlights for you to enjoy along with a wonderful experience at the beautiful Sight & Sound Theatre’s production of “DAVID”! Lunch (on your own). This evening we check into our home for 2 nights at the Hampton Inn, Lancaster, PA, 717-740-5759 (wifi, frig, microwave). Dinner (included) at Miller’s Smorgasbord in Ronks, Pennsylvania. The smorgasbord features made from scratch recipes along with Miller’s Heritage Recipes, serving the area since 1929.
Day 2, Saturday, September 10
Continental breakfast (included) at our hotel. This morning we meet our Step-on guide for a fascinating 3.5 hour tour. We will enjoy the Original Farmland Tour. Visitors know the beauty of our Amish countryside the world over…sights you find nowhere else. The spectacular farmland scenery changes with the seasons. Horses plow the fields, Amish buggies clip-clop down country roads, but things are indeed changing…there’s an Amish girl texting on her IPhone! Our guide is a certified local expert and while on tour we will visit an Amish Country Homestead and learn how the Amish live without modern conveniences. You will be spellbound at the Amish Experience Theater by Jacob’s Choice, the story of a young Amish boy making a decision to leave or stay Amish. We will make stops on our tour so you can purchase bakery items, crafts and souvenirs. After our tour, lunch (on your own). We return to the hotel to freshen-up for our much anticipated experience at the beautiful state-of-the-art Sight & Sound Theatre. Dinner, served family style at the Hershey Farm Restaurant. You will have time to visit the gift shop after dinner. Next, we take our seats at Sight & Sound Theatre for the performance of “DAVID”! This Biblical story comes to life on stage using theatrical wonders to take the audience inside the story of this legendary figure who rose from shepherd to king after defeating the giant. Goliath! We return to the hotel after the show.
Day 3, Sunday, September 11
Continental breakfast (included) at our hotel. Bags ready by 7:30am., depart 8:00am. Today as we travel home, we take lots of memories of the Pennsylvania Amish Country and the wonderful play about KING DAVID! Lunch (on your own) at Cracker Barrel. Dinner (on you own) fast food. ETA New Boston, OH 9:00pm.

Tour cancellations: Full refund when cancellation is made by July 31, 2022, except any charges levied by our suppliers on your behalf..
Coach seating is based on your final payment. Single passengers will be seated with other single passengers if coach is full. Price per person will change when a roommate cancels and your accommodation type changes.
Luggage: Due to state regulations we are required to cross scales in some states. 1 Bag per person 45 Lbs. and 1 Overnight bag per person 20 Lbs. Use your bathroom scales to weigh your luggage.
If you need help with your luggage at the hotels, please let us know before we depart. This works better and much faster if you handle your own luggage. Again let us know, we are glad to help. Thank you.
Please tear off all luggage tags from previous trips and attach new tag provided.
