Barbara Booth, co-founder and CEO of Go-Be Sleeves, is revolutionizing the travel industry with her innovative approach to wellness and sustainability. With a background in investigative journalism at CNBC, Barbara brings a unique blend of business strategy, innovation, and product design to her venture, aiming to create products that not only enhance travel experiences but also promote ethical and sustainable practices. The inception of Go-Be Sleeves dates back to 2018, when Barbara's co-founder and close friend, Cornelia Quinn, voiced a concern about the cleanliness of airplane tray tables. This prompted further investigation, which revealed disturbing findings. Tray tables were the germiest spots on planes, harboring 2,500 more colony-forming bacteria than the toilet flush button. This revelation motivated Barbara and Cornelia to take action. They envisioned a product that would promote both passenger wellness and environmental sustainability. The result was Go-Be Sleeves, a brand dedicated to creating sustainable, eco-friendly travel gear.
