Respond and attend to guest/owner repair requests. Communicate with guests/owners to resolve maintenance issues. Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio). Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. Record information for unfinished calls prior to shift change.
1. Pool Operations: includes maintaining pools and hot tub in a clean and sanitary manner,
conducting daily safety inspections, routine and preventative maintenance, operating boilers,
filter changes, minor plumbing, monitoring and ordering chemicals and supplies, cleaning the
pools and pool areas as necessary.
2. Plumbing and Electrical:
includes the repair, replacement or installation of faucets, pipes,
hot water tanks, toilets, garbage disposals, and dishwashers. Includes the repair, replacement
or installation of power switches, fuses, wall sockets, ceiling lights, light bulbs, ceiling fans,
electric baseboard and wall heaters. Order, reorder and stock all parts necessary to complete
the above.
3. Painting and drywall:
includes filling in small holes caused by nails and minor dings from
normal wear and tear, minor touch-ups following damage repair and new coats of paint
applied to unit walls between the time a tenant vacates a unit and a new renter assumes
occupancy.
4. Appliance repair:
includes the troubleshooting and repair, replacement or installation of
some household appliances, such as dishwashers, range ovens, hot water tanks, and air
conditioners.
5. Grounds keeping:
includes mowing grass, pulling weeds, trimming and pruning trees and
shrubs, watering plants, replacing light bulbs along pathways and parking areas, sweeping or
raking leaves, and tidying up bark or other ground covering.
6. Snow removal:
includes shoveling, blowing or plowing snow away from roads, walkways
and driveways, and laying down rock salt atop icy surfaces to prevent slipping.
7. Customer service:
includes professional, prompt and courteous correspondence with renters
and owners when scheduling and providing maintenance services, and with contracted
vendors that provide additional facility services. Maintains rapport with customers by
examining complaints; identifying solutions and suggesting improved methods and
techniques; recommending system improvements
8. Time management:
includes maintaining an organized scheduling and tracking system,
usually on a computer, to effectively complete all maintenance requests in a timely manner
9. Equipment:
Make sure all company equipment is kept track of, operating, and maintained in a proper manner by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
10. Take initiative to tidy up areas that need it. Pick up any trash you find and place in dumpsters.

Work Schedule and Benefits:
Full Time and part time position available. On-Call, Emergency response and after hours work as needed (infrequent).
