It’s been a busy summer but it’s rolling in to Fall! Crisp mornings and changing leaves.
This has been our “beacon” for travelers over the summer since GPS takes folks 10 miles past our entry. Today the entry feature gets her fall makeover. Gotta say though, I love the summer patriotic theme!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Today’s forecast: I can’t feel my face.

During the winter, bison develop thick, woolly coats that help protect them from freezing temperatures and harsh winds. It’s said that a bison's winter coat is so thick and provides insulation so effective that when snow accumulates on its coat, it will not melt from the heat of the bison's skin. Their skin also thickens in response to cold temperatures and fatty deposits appear to insulate the animal. Same.

You can try so hard to capture the brilliance of colors but nothing compares to what the human eye gets to experience. These trees look like they were glowing because of how the sun was hitting them. And butterflies in October??? Of course they have fall colors… 🥰🥰🥰.

These sunflowers were a gift at the beginning of June. Watching them grow and bloom has been such a treat this summer. 🌻 This Kansas girl loves a beautiful sunflower!!!
