That was quick! These beauties were cought Dec. 15th on Muskegon lake dropped them off to Bill DeWitt on the 16th for my customers and bamb 2 new wall mounts and a ton of memories. Good work as always Bill thank you.

Tip! If you don’t have good mapping to help you break down lakes and find good spots to fish try navionics on your phone. I use it a lot while walking out to my fishing spots and marking spots I want to go back to later who else uses navionics app on their phone?.

Oden State Fish Hatchery (near Petoskey) stocked 82,000 fall fingerling brown trout that weighed 4,494 pounds and 82,919 rainbow trout that weighed 2,681 pounds. These fish were stocked at four locations in the Upper and Lower peninsulas in fall 2024.

2025 is shaping up to be an excellent ice fishing season. I want to remind everyone that your local bait shops have been struggling for 3 winters now. when you’re making plans to hit the hard water with your buddies make sure you buy local and spend a couple extra bucks on jigs and gear. You can probably buy your bait in bulk over the internet but that’s not going to help all are small mom and pop shops. So in an effort to grow my page and support all the local bait shops I’m going to do a giveaway. The rules are simple. You must follow my page. This is Likely the last week for fishing from a boat water temps are down in the 30’s yesterday I had to go down in the morning and bust the ice up with my spud to get out in the afternoon. If you choose to go out carry salt, shovel and a tow strap!
