Usually picking at Frosty Mountain Blueberry Patch is through mid August, so let us know if you’d love to come up to Whitney Point for a relaxing weekend away.

Our deck at the cottage just got better! We now have comfy rocking chairs for you to sit and enjoy looking for deer, listening to the birds and just being surrounded by nature when you stay here!
Frosty Mountain Blueberry Patch is just up the road from our Cottage! We have two weekends in July still open if you’d love to get away for a weekend and be able to pick the most delicious NY blueberries. 🫐
We did a little landscaping around Fieldcrest Cottage this past weekend. We used larger stone from creek beds to make a border and filled in with smaller stones. We would like to plant some shrubs around the cottage as well, any suggestions?
Who’s ready for a peaceful getaway at our cottage? Sitting on the porch looking out over the fields and hearing the birds chirp surely is good for the soul!
We want to continue to make small improvements at our cottage that will help you enjoy your stay even more. Today we added a leveled mulched-in area for our picnic table out by the fire ring. If the weather’s nice you can easily bring all your food outside and enjoy eating by the campfire.
Gobble gobble. You never know when you’ll see some wildlife when you stay here at our cottage. When we arrived last night there were two deer bedded down in the yard, and now we see Getrude strutting around the yard…and yes, I named her. 😆

Did you know that at Dorchester Park here in the town of Whitney Point you can rent kayaks, canoes, paddle boats and row boats to enjoy the lake. During the summer the life-guarded swimming area is a great place to bring the kids.
If you want go plan your trip to Fieldcrest Cottage this summer around blueberry season, the local farm is usually open from mid July to mid August! Just a mile and a half up the road from our cottage, you’ll find Frosty Mountain Blueberry Farm where you can pick the most delicious and fresh blueberries!
If you’re thinking of where you want to sneak away to this summer with your family, consider Fieldcrest Cottage! Nestled in the town of Whitney Point, it’s only a 1/2 hour over the NY/PA border, just north of Binghamton.
It might be a blurry photo, but we often have deer pop up on our trail cams on our property. It’s never a guarantee, but we hope when you stay at our Cottage, you get to see some deer or turkeys! 🦌 🦃
We are in the process of finishing this wooden picnic table for our guests to use out by the fire pit. We will be making a flat area for it to sit on so you can bring all of your food outside, which will make your campfire cooking that much easier! 🔥
Good food, good mood! Whether you want to cook in our kitchen, or go grab some pizza in town (just a few miles away), you can usually always count on a good time when you’re eating good.
This creek runs through part of our property and it’s so relaxing to listen to the sounds of the water. On your walk through the woods to see it, keep your eye out for deer tracks.

The sun shines again!! ☀️ We’re up at the Cottage today to do a few odds and ends, and boy did the blue sky look so pretty! You almost forget how good the sun feels when you hardly see it for the entire month of January. 😆
We now have our sign hanging at the end of our driveway! We can’t wait for guests to enjoy our Cottage this year.
What a difference!! When we first purchased the Cottage, the stairs were more in the middle of the house and there was a large post right in the middle of the great room. So glad we could make this space much more functional by moving the stairs to the side of the living room and adding in a large beam. We hope you will be able to enjoy this space with your family!

We are working hard to finish our Cottage! Here’s an update of the progress that we’ve made downstairs.

Here’s a quick walk through video of what the layout of our Cottage looks like inside. With 2 bedrooms (queen bed and 2 sets of single bunk beds in each room) and 2 full bathrooms, we can have 1-2 families stay and enjoy a getaway in the small town of Whitney Point NY.
We just have to say that we are so grateful for our local farmers that can benefit from our property by growing hay and corn on some of the land around our Cottage. As we are working up here this weekend, we were happy to see them working as well on this beautiful day!
