Fall is soon on its way. 🍁 The leaves will begin to change up here at the Cottage and the views from our deck will be even prettier! Our deck at the cottage just got better! We now have comfy rocking chairs for you to sit and enjoy looking for deer, listening to the birds and just being surrounded by nature when you stay here!

Frosty Mountain Blueberry Patch is just up the road from our Cottage! We have two weekends in July still open if you’d love to get away for a weekend and be able to pick the most delicious NY blueberries. 🫐

We did a little landscaping around Fieldcrest Cottage this past weekend. We used larger stone from creek beds to make a border and filled in with smaller stones. We would like to plant some shrubs around the cottage as well, any suggestions?

We want to continue to make small improvements at our cottage that will help you enjoy your stay even more. Today we added a leveled mulched-in area for our picnic table out by the fire ring. If the weather’s nice you can easily bring all your food outside and enjoy eating by the campfire.

Gobble gobble. You never know when you’ll see some wildlife when you stay here at our cottage. When we arrived last night there were two deer bedded down in the yard, and now we see Getrude strutting around the yard…and yes, I named her. 😆

We had some unexpected guests at Fieldcrest Cottage today…gobble gobble gobble. 🦃

There’s nothing quite like the pure sound of nature with the croaking frogs, the humming crickets and the babbling brook after the sun goes down.

The sun is trying to pop out, and the birds are chirping….happy Saturday from Fieldcrest Cottage.

This creek runs through part of our property and it’s so relaxing to listen to the sounds of the water. On your walk through the woods to see it, keep your eye out for deer tracks.

Here’s an updated video inside our Cottage! With two bedrooms (each one has a queen bed and 2 single bunk beds) and two bathrooms, our cottage is perfect for a large family, or two families that would like to get away from the busyness of life, and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature and the views of our 60 acre property.

We are working hard to finish our Cottage! Here’s an update of the progress that we’ve made downstairs.
