We had a girl scout troop of 12 girls and 8 adults here to celebrate our last weekend at Black Bear Lodge for this year. I got to tell them the story of The Trail of Tears and showed them our amazing totem pole that was custom made for us on the Choctaw Reservation in Oklahoma. What a wonderful group to wind up this amazing year!

I loved my time being with my family in PA but I am so happy to be back home on my mountain. Turn your sound up and listen to this beautiful night sounds. Thank you all for your prayers for my parents and my sister. God bless you all.

You can see the rain in the distance and hear it tapping on the leaves of the trees coming up the valley long before we feel it up here. It's mesmerizing. 😊
