I have been consistently increasing my weights during my workouts and last week, I must have had my wrist in a weird position while I was doing curls. Low and behold, I developed a mild case tennis elbow.
As a massage therapist, I understand how important it is to allow an injury time to heal so that I don't make it worse...been there done that. So while I was healing, I thought I'd share my self care protocol with you!
I have also been adding in stretching as well. I would also like to note that although this protocol is extremely helpful, it's important to get treatment from a knowledgeable massage therapist that is experienced in injury rehabilitation.
All of our therapists at Balanced are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to injury prevention and rehab🙌
