Northeast Tennessee treated us so well! I was blessed with the opportunity to attend a black bear hunt in the Smokey Mountains with the Tennessee Bear Hunters Association and from day one they treated us like we were family. It was a very humbling experience to say the least. I met some amazing people and fostered some friendships that will last a lifetime. I want to give a huge shoutout and thank you to Travis, his wife Becky, and their son Jeremiah for welcoming me into their home and treating me like family. They are some of the kindest, caring, loving, hardworking, and genuine people I’ve ever met in my life. I also want to thank Phillips and Ryan Brymer for taking care of us and feeding us all the fatty cakes a fat kid could ever ask for, and for being such great guides! Five stars! I also want to thank Robert Dupont for being such a great room mate and I’m going to miss our late night conversations in the hotel! 🥰😂
Robert harvested a beautiful boar and I couldn’t have been more happy for him! Unfortunately, I didn’t get a bear this time, but it was hands down the best hunting experience I’ve ever had thanks to everyone involved. This trip will be hard to beat and I cannot wait to do it again! I also want to thank Tater, Perkey, Troy, Dave, Frosty, Josh, Jackknife, and everyone else who worked their tails off to ensure we had an amazing trip! Thank you all so much! 💪🏼💙🇺🇸🙏🏻
