It Takes a Village to Keep This Company Running Smoothy- Let's visit the Tour Operations department!

After many years in music and theatre, Christi Moore became a Tour Director at Village Travel in 2017. Since then, Christi has been instrumental in training new Directors, and in January 2023, the position of Tour Operations Manager was created—and Christi was a natural fit. In this role, she assigns Tour Directors and drivers to tours and works closely with the Tour Coordinators to ensure the tours run smoothly. Village Travel offers approximately 200 tours per year, and Christi oversees each one before its departure and after its return. She loves the relationships she has built with drivers, other Tour Directors, and passengers over the years.

Christi collaborates closely with Danielle Geesling, Tour Sales Director, on various aspects of operations and planning, including logistics, customer service, and follow-up correspondence with passengers. She continues to organize training for new Tour Directors and is 24-hour support for every Tour Director on every tour on the road.

But she isn't just in the office—Christi continues to serve as a Tour Director herself, having recently completed six tours in just two months. Outside of work, Christi stays active in theatre as much as possible. Keeping music and theatre in her life not only allows her to enjoy her creative side but also brings fresh energy to her daily work at Village Travel.
