We had an amazing time hosting 73 attendees at our Alaska Spotlight meeting in Wichita today! 🌟 From cruising the stunning Inside Passage to riding the historic Alaska Railway 🚂, exploring majestic glaciers 🌨️, and discovering unforgettable shore excursions 🌊, we covered it all. Plus, we dove into incredible experiences like touring Denali National Park 🏞️ and so much more!

At Village Travel, we believe our drivers are the best in the business! 🚍💪 Throughout January, our annual driver reviews are underway at each Village terminal. Each driver meets individually with a member of our Safety Team to review safety expectations and best practices as well as taking a driving test. Time is also spent in the shop with our mechanics to learn more about how to solve problems on the road and what new features are present on today's motorcoaches.

With nearly 300 drivers, it's a big undertaking that ensures everyone is meeting our expectations. But that's not all—our drivers also complete a timed "fit test," where they load and unload three faux suitcases ranging from 25 # to 45 # into both sides of the three storage bays under the coach. It's a big job, and we love doing it because the safety of our passengers comes first! 🔒🛣️

These thorough annual reviews are one of the reasons Village Travel has earned a reputation for excellence. We take pride in our commitment to safety, and our drivers exemplify it.

🎉 What better way to ring in the New Year than with reserved seats at the iconic Rose Parade! 🌹✨ Our 11-day 'Rose Parade' tour just returned, and what an unforgettable experience it was! 🌞

Passengers were treated to the breathtaking beauty of the living Rose Parade floats drifting by on a perfect sunny day and a sneak peek of the final decorating the day before. 🌸 But that was just the beginning! From exploring the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert 🌵visiting the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library to discovering Lake Havasu City 🌊 and getting an insider's look at Warner Brothers Studio 🎬—this tour had it all!

The Detroit Lions have set off on their "We Want More" Bus Tour across Michigan in celebration of their record-setting season! For a tour like this, they wanted to bring the best, so they naturally reached out to Village Coach for the motorcoach and driver! Shoutout to our very own James "Hurricane" Heathfield for driving the coach!

✨ How Can We Help You Check Dreams Off Your Bucket List? ✨

For Village Travel customer Marki Graves, her dream was to ice skate at Rockefeller Center in New York City. But there was one thing standing in her way – she'd never been on ice skates before! ❄️

In September 2024, Marki took the first step by starting skating lessons at the Wichita Ice Center to prepare for her dream moment. Fast forward to December, and she was ready to make it happen during the 'Christmas in NYC' tour! 🎄⛸️ She took advantage of some free time during the tour and headed straight to the iconic rink. Her husband, Jim, couldn't have been more thrilled to see her dream come true. 💫

🎉The Texas Tech TTU Goin' Band 🎶 Director presented Village Travel Driver, Fred Evans, with a Champion Award to express their appreciation for his hard work and dedication as Lead Driver. Since 2021, Fred has been transporting the band to both regular and bowl games. Most recently, he led the charge of nine coaches to transport 400+ band members to the Liberty Bowl last month!

According to Fred, "It was Miss Debbie, the amazing directors, staff, band members and assistants who made me feel at home and fall in love with 'The Goin' Band from Raiderland!' They love our drivers at Village Travel, and it shows in how they treat us at every event they attend."

On Friday, Village had the honor of transporting the "Pride of Oklahoma" — the University of Oklahoma Sooner Band — from Norman to TCU Stadium in Fort Worth for the Armed Forces Bowl! 🎶🚍 Seven coaches and one Village Transport truck and trailer hit the road, packed with school spirit and excitement. Driver Jared Robinson shared, "It was definitely an experience I'll never forget!" The Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band
