The Cape May side of the bridge unfolds with stunning natural beauty. 🐢🐢 Why did the turtle cross the road? We called the professionals to find out! Leaving the South Station Market on Diamond Beach on July 2 at 9:30am, we saw this Diamondback Terrapin turtle trying to cross the road. I called Marine Mammal Stranding Center, and they let me know she probably left the bay looking for a place to dig and hide her eggs. We helped her cross the street safely, and hopefully she found her way from there.
