Yesterdays holiday makers market at midtown row! Reusable napkins with the cutest graphics from Fill Happy honey for my elderberry syrup and pure beeswax candles from Bodhi Bee Farms LLC. The best Christmas smell in a candle I have found so far, honestly all of their candles smell heavenly from Freedom Cottage and last but certainly not least a beautiful print of the iconic Janis Joplin I can’t tag the artist yet but I will when I can figure out how lol but they were such lovely people and I had the pleasure of vending right next to them. LoveLight Placemaking thank you for all your hard work your markets are not just markets, they are a full experience and we thank you for that💚

Did you know that The Bruton Heights School currently located downtown Colonial Williamsburg, VA was a school custom built for black kids? Its a beautiful campus that was also built to serve as a community center for the local black community as a whole. Even though public education was supposed to be provided to both black and white kids during segregation…the black community had to fight for years for equal standards already provided to the white community.
