It's Grand Illumination time!! Fireworks go off this Saturday night! This weekend is the last in the series of three weekends!
⭐Grand Illumination Fireworks – Saturday, December 21st at 7 PM - Fireworks will be fired from the Capitol and Palace each Saturday night. For the best view of the Palace fireworks, anywhere on Palace Green is perfect. For the Capitol show, the best viewing area is on Duke of Gloucester St east of Botetourt St.
⭐Festivities – Fridays & Saturdays, December 20th-21st from 5 pm – 7 pm
⭐Celebration of the Yule Log - Fridays December 20th - The Yule log will be hauled by a wagon from Capitol Circle to Market Square where it will be added to a bonfire accompanied by holiday music, festivities, and the lighting of the cressets. 6-7:30 p.m.
⭐Live Theater, Father Christmas – Saturdays, December 14th and 21st from 5 pm – 7 pm
⭐Special Programing at the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg Hennage Auditorium (ticketed)
⭐Grand Illumination is free and open to the public!
⭐Parking in the Prince George Parking Garage will be FREE for the first four hours through New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 2025. After four hours, the rate is $1/hr.

Make sure to drive through Newport News Park - Celebration of Lights - two miles of over one million lights in their dazzling holiday light displays set amongst the beautiful woods and waterways at Newport News Park. The event will be open nightly from 5:30 – 10 pm.
