An Evening of Musical Masterpieces on February 11th, 2025
with The Williamsport Symphony Orchestra, is being led by Maestro Gerardo Edelstein. He is excited to present "Marvels of Majesty" on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. at the Community Arts Center. This stunning concert will feature the dazzling Piano Concerto in G major by Maurice Ravel, with celebrated pianist Byeol Kim, and Anton Bruckner’s majestic Symphony No. 7 in E Major. A special highlight of the evening will be the rare use of Wagner tubas, a unique brass instrument designed by Richard Wagner, adding a distinctive richness to Bruckner's symphony.

Exploring the creative and cultural power of visual communication, “Re-Writing the Streets 2.0: The International Language of Stickers” is on display through March 5 at The Gallery at Penn College. Incorporating the finest examples of two global collectors, the exhibition features over 900 original, unused stickers, representing a diverse array of voices and perspectives.
Street art has evolved dramatically from the aerosol and painted mural graffiti that pepper subway stations, back alleys and train yards, and which has typically been seen as vandalism. Today, new forms of visual communication are created in public spaces. Street art stickers have emerged as a vehicle for self-expression. Lycoming County Visitors Bureau 2025 Travel and Tourism Application Deadline is FRIDAY, JANUARY 10TH.

The Lycoming County Visitors Bureau Travel and Tourism Grants program is now open, but closing soon. Make sure you have your grant application in, by 11:59pm on January 10, 2025.

Funding is to assist with non-profit organizations in their travel and tourism related activities and is to be used for underwriting the expense of promotional and publicity initiatives by those assets for the purpose of increasing tourism within Lycoming County. Awards are granted on a competitive basis. Grant funding is limited to non-profit organizations and preference will be given to the assets that demonstrate the ability to attract patrons from outside Lycoming County.
Organizations meeting the criteria for the grant are strongly encouraged to apply for this funding. Applications and guidelines may be obtained by going to the Visitor Bureau website site, www.visitlycomingcountypa.com, or the Chamber’s website, www.williamsport.org. They can also be obtained by calling the Chamber at 570-326-1971.

Since 2000, the Lycoming County Visitors Bureau has granted out through this program over $1.9 million to 55 non-profit organizations conducting travel and tourism related events and activities here in Lycoming County.
