Meet Princess Kala and Princess Denise! 👸🏻👸🏻

One of my favorite memories at Walt Disney World is from a certain trip where my sister and I received these new names. 🤪 On this particular trip, we were checking in at our resort and the cast member by the name Orlando that was chceking us in called us by these names.

That’s not the special part though! Throughout the remainder of our trip when we saw Orlando around our resort, he would say hello and call us by name. We couldn’t believe that he would remember us among the thousands of guests. It made us feel so special and made our trip so much more!

So why Disney? For these special moments that Disney creates for their guests! It’s for the memories made and the fun that is had!

Staying at a Deluxe Resort at Walt Disney World has a lot of perks and can be worth the price if one is available in your price range during your stay.

🌟 Deluxe Resorts have many different dining options, with some arguably being among the best on Disney property. Many have character dining meals.
🌟 Most of these resorts also have multiple modes of transportation like boat, monorail, or skyliner.
🌟 If you stay at one of the Deluxe Resorts in the Magic Kingdom or EPCOT areas, you're a very short transportation ride or walk to that specific park making you very close to all the fun. Pro tip: If you stay at a Magic Kingdom area resort, you're also a quick monorail ride to EPCOT.
🌟 Some of the best pools are located at Deluxe Resorts, most with awesome water slides!
🌟 When staying at a Deluxe Resort, you also have access to Extended Evening Hours on select days at select parks. This allows you to stay in the park 2 hours longer than Value and Moderate resort guests. You have the potential to get a lot done during these 2 hours, and can even ride the headliner rides (Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT and Tron: Lightcylce/Run at Magic Kingdom).

Hi friends! While I talk non-stop about all things Disney, I wanted to take a minute and share some of my favorite things I love about Universal Orlando Resort!

🌏The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! I didn’t read the books until I was an adult and immediately fell in love! Being able to feel completely immersed into the Wizarding World is so cool! The details are 🔥. You can explore Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley. Get a close up look of the inside of Hogwarts while waiting to ride the Forbidden Journey. Cast spells after a wand chooses you at Olivander’s. Hear Moaning Myrtle in the bathroom. So many things to see and do!
🌏I can’t mention the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and not talk about Butterbeer! There are so many ways you can get Butterbeer but my personal fave is frozen. 😋
🌏 There is fun for all ages! I love Seuss Landing- it’s so whimsical and creative!
🌏If you love thrill rides, this is your place! I’m not a thrill seeker but there are a few of the thrill rides I love- Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is my all time favorite ride of any theme park!
🌏Take a night off from the parks and have dinner at City Walk. After dinner, I love having desert at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium. The theming of this restaurant is so fun and the desserts are sooo delicious! Pro tip: split dessert with someone! They are plentiful!

Traveling to Walt Disney World with a 3 year old (and under) can be magical adventure!

As magical as it can be, it can be stressful due to change in a child’s schedule, overstimulation, the heat, and more!

Consider following these Top 5 Tips to make things go as smooth as possible with young children!

1. Set your expectations. I recommend picking your top 3-5 Must Do experiences each day. Anything after that is a bonus!

2. Schedule as close as you can to your regular routine. Try to mobile order or plan your sit down meals around regular meal times and slow down around nap times. This includes taking breaks - whether it is a full nap at the resort, a nap on a dark ride, or a snack in a/c.

3. Consider what you bring for your room stay and the parks! Bring the necessities like diapers, wipes, change of clothes, stroller fan, sunscreen and snacks into the parks. (The Baby Care center in each park is stocked with items for purchase if you forget them!). Plus, some things you might not think about bringing: charger/batteries for the stroller fan, power bank for your phone, ziplock bags for wet clothes, small toys and books for the room.

4. Picky eaters - Bring all the snacks and maybe even a thermos! If you have a microwave in your room, you can pack a hot “safe” meal in a thermos to have in the parks. All resorts have a microwave in their food court or eating area if you don’t have one in your room!

5. Bring entertainment. I highly recommend this for waiting in lines and at sit down meals. Things like toy cars, mini play dough, coloring packs, invisible ink books, etc. No shame in downloading some shows on your phone either - just don’t forget your power bank!

Do you have Dr. Seuss lovers at home?! 🤔

If so, they will LOVE Seuss Landing in Islands of Adventure at Universal Studios Resort. You can spy Horton's egg, take a ride through The Cat in the Hat book, and even say hello to some of your favorite characters, like Sam I Am and Thing 1 and Thing 2! The attention to detail here is like none other! 😍You can even try green eggs and ham...if you dare. 😉

🌟Fun Fact🌟

Did you know that Dr. Seuss never drew straight lines? 🧐Everything was curved, slanted, or "wonky." Thus, there are no straight lines in this amazingly fun land! 🎉Even the trees here were specially brought in from the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew in South Florida when building the land.

If you visit during the Christmas season, the Whos are SO.MUCH.FUN. to meet in the magically transformed "Merry Merry Seuss Landing," and meeting the Grinch is a HILARIOUS experience, not to be missed!🎄 Check out some photos in the comments of this incredibly fun land!

April 14 is National Dolphin Day. A time to celebrate one of the most intelligent and friendly mammals in the world.

Did you know that dolphins lack an olfactory system (sense of smell)? Dolphins find food using their other senses like sight and, more importantly, sound with echolocation. 🐬

🧀It’s National Grilled Cheese Day! 🧀

Picture yourself sitting in Andy’s backyard enjoying one of his favorite lunches…the Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich at Woody’s Lunch Box, located in Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

This sandwich has become a fan-favorite in Toy Story Land. Made of melted Provolone, Cheddar, and American cheese on Grilled Sourdough Bread is a great lunch option, especially if it is paired with soup and their famous tachos!
Since Woody’s Lunchbox is one of the more popular restaurants, I would highly recommend that you use the Mobile Ordering feature on the My Disney Experience app. This would allow you to order meals and snacks from wherever you happen to be in the park.

ICON OF THE SEAS
🎉Arrives 2024🎉

The Icon Class for Royal Caribbean is the newest class of ship in the fleet. These ships will be the biggest in the world, and also Royal Caribbean’s first ships to be powered by the more environmentally-friendly LNG fuel. There are four Icon-class ships currently planned.

The Icon Class was first announced in 2016, seven years after the launch of the first Oasis-class ship and six years before the final one to be built.
The Icon of the Seas is the biggest cruise ship in the world, although she may be surpassed when future Icon-class ships launch.

4 AMAZING FEATURES

The AquaDome is a relaxing spot to unwind during the day, with bars and amazing views. At night, the enhanced AquaTheater brings incredible shows to life while guests can dine and drink surrounded by thrills.

Chill Island is the main pool area on Icon-class ships. As well as the main Royal Bay Pool, it has a Swim & Tonic pool with a swim-up bar, an adults-only pool, and four Lime & Coconut bars for those cocktails.

Surfside is the first neighborhood on a Royal Caribbean ship specifically targeted at young families, although all guests are welcome. It’s here where you’ll find Adventure Ocean, the arcade, the carousel and some new dining venues too.

Stop by Celebrity Spotlight for a warm hug from Olaf! Olaf doesn’t autograph, but he loves to pose for photos with you!
Do not miss “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration!” Sing along to crowd favorites, including “Let It Go,” and enjoy a laugh with the official Arendelle historians as they hilariously retell the story behind the film. Elsa may even use her powers to create a little snow magic! This show lasts approximately 30 minutes. Be sure to refer to your My Disney Experience app for showtimes.

🏰 Magic Kingdom

Catch Anna, Elsa, and Olaf on the Cinderella Castle stage during “Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire.” They will dance and sing with other Disney pals! This show happens multiple times daily, and showtimes can be found in your My Disney Experience app.
Frozen friends can also be seen in The Festival of Fantasy parade! The parade starts in Adventureland and makes its way to Main Street USA. Currently, it runs twice daily—12 PM and 3 PM.

⛄️ Blizzard Beach

Children under 48 inches tall can have a flurry of fun at Tike’s Peak, which is located at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park. Here you will find miniature snow-banked water slides, wading pools featuring Olaf and the lovable Snowgies, Anna and Elsa’s igloo fortress, and more!
