Friends in Christ, Episcopal Youth Music Camp Campers, Staff, Camp Families,

We received word on Feb. 27, 2025 that Brian Williams battle with cancer is over. He was in Hospice care for the past month and died peacefully at home surrounded by Mayo Hospice along with his husband Thom and 3 cats by his side. I'm sure there will be a celebration of Brian Williams life and will be shared when more is known.

Brian touched the hearts of hundreds of campers and staff and helped us all make beautiful music together. We will all miss Brian but thankful for the life he lived and everything he shared with each of us.

We are positive that Brian is in good company with all the Saints and surrounded in God's amazing love that feels like the biggest and best camp hug ever.

Dear Brian,
May the long time sun shine upon you, our love surround you, and the pure, pure light within you guide your way home.

Everyday I have memories of EYMC- Music Camp. Even though our last camp was 2019 there are moments in my day that remind me of our amazing camp moments and friendships. We now have an entire new generation of folks who have never experienced camp and have asked when will EYMC happen...

I think it's time to create some opportunities to gather around a campfire and share stories and dream about what camp could be in the future.

Hello Camp Community!

The EYMC Deans have put together a survey with the intention of making camp the best it can be. We will be using the answers from this survey to create an Advisory Board that will assist the Deans with the organization of EYMC. We want to hear from you! Camp Agape is starting this week! New campers can join in for any part of this "choose your own adventure" camp anytime from July 11 - Aug 8. Our big hope for Camp Agape is that, whenever we are online or outdoors together, the Holy Spirit will renew our hearts and bless our beloved community with faith, hope, love, and joy.

Our amazing team of counselors gathered this past weekend, with social distance, to launch Camp Agape. They prayed, planned, and wrote their first note to the campers they are paired up with. Our Friday night campfire talks will be shared out with all of ECMN, and we will be using a sign-up to invite intentional prayer for this beloved community on these special evenings as well. In the meantime, please pray or our 64 campers and leaders today as they start their camp experience, and for the 23 episcopal faith communities all over Minnesota who love them. Then stay tuned here and follow along for the next four weeks to see what the Holy Spirit has in store for all of ECMN.

Our next virtual campfire is tomorrow at 7:30pm central! The theme is meditation and relaxation. We are no longer using the webinar format and are switching to the typical Zoom/video chat format to allow for a better face to face connection within the EYMC community. Schedule update! We are going to switch to an every other week schedule for our virtual campfires. Our next campfire will be May 3! During hard times, it's always a good remember the wonderful communities that you are apart of and can reach out to for support. Extra, Extra! Registration for EYMC 2020 (Aug. 2nd-8th) opens Thursday, January 16th!

Episcopal Youth Music Camp is a week long overnight camp experience connecting God, people, and music.
EYMC is for youth going into 3rd-12th grades. Young adults graduating high school through age 22 can apply to be a part of our Leadership Team, and adults 21+ can participate in camp as counselors, program staff, and more!
