Day 4 of our Crete Kayak Adventure is truly a special day. We start out in Agia Roumeli, a tiny seaside town only accessible by foot or boat. After breakfast, we hop in our kayaks and begin down the coast. Our first stop is for a quick cappuccino at Agios Pavlos, a stunning beach with a small 10th Century Byzantine chapel that was built in honor of St. Paul.
After we get caffeinated and explore some ruins, we head toward the remarkable Marmara Beach, one of the tastiest lunch spots of our whole journey. One may decide to partake in some cliff jumping here after a yummy meal!
Then comes the best moment of all, rounding the corner and paddling into Loutro, the idyllic seaside village where we spend the next few nights.

We’ve just returned from an amazing kayak adventure on Roatan, the largest Bay Island of Honduras.
Roatan is a renowned scuba destination, but the divers who solely visit resorts on the western end of the island miss so much of what Roatan has to offer.
With kayaks as our main mode of transportation (we also had van support), we cruised along the palm lined shores and through mysterious mangrove tunnels at our 100 smiles per hour pace.
We made new friends. Satiated our seafood appetites. Challenged ourselves. Soaked up the Caribbean sun. Played in the waves. And made some incredible memories with old friends and loved ones.

Our recent Aeolian Islands Kayak Adventure had us paddling around off the beaten path volcanic islands, where we were treated to mountains of fresh seafood, fine wines and wonderful hospitality.
We were lucky enough to have perfect paddling weather, giving us the opportunity to see the islands like few others. Our group got in some hiking days to round off our adventure, and even got to watch the active Stromboli erupt right before our eyes.

Just a little slice of your day on a NWP Santorini Adventure…..The Church of the Seven Children is a 200+ year old church in Santorini that commemorates the legend of the Seven Brothers. In 250 CE, the Roman Emperor Decius outlawed Christianity in Ephesus (modern day Turkey). Seven brothers opposed the ruling and fled to a nearby cave. Roman soldiers were ordered to seal the mouth of the cave with a wall of bricks, condemning the brothers to starvation. The brothers persevered and fell into a 200 year hibernation, and emerged from the cave when Christianity was the dominant religion in the region.The inhabitants of Santorini hold a festival and special service at the church every year to honor the brothers. We visit this spectacular church on day 5 of our adventure. It is only accessible by boat, giving us an experience that few other tourist get to have.
