He was in Greensboro a few days before and was supposed to continue his trip around NC but got the call while in Greensboro to make the detour to Memphis, TN

How exciting! Artwork from one of Wilmington's most beloved artists, Minnie Evans, will be getting a national spotlight throughout 2025.

The Cameron Art Museum recently announced that sixteen of Evans' paintings will be on display at The Gund at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio from Jan. 22 to April 13, and at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston from May 10 to Oct. 26.

In addition to the paintings, the Cameron Art Museum is also sending letters, photographs, and the Airlie Gardens Admission sign that features paint splotches from Evans' paint brushes. These pieces will come from the museum’s Minnie Evans Study Center.
